My name is Rosemary. I live in Virginia on a farm with my husband and his parents, who are all farmers. I’m a graduate student in chemical engineering (READ: total dork) at a not-so close-by university, which means I’m away from home much of the week.
In September of 2009, we purchased two lovely angora goats, Hamlet and Ivan, which reside with us on the farm. I’m learning to shear them and process their fiber, which has been a wonderful adventure – all chronicled on this blog.
I love to travel, chew ice, knit, upcycle/craft, and do outdoor activities when my allergies cooperate. I sneeze constantly. And ramble.

Dearest Rose -
What an absolute delight to find your site! I stumbled upon it while wandering in the desert of Face Book…
Didn’t know you’re a knitter, so that was the first fun fact I obtained. Next, read about the goats… Can’t wait to meet the “kids”. (Oooh, I know that was unforgivable, but couldn’t resist.)
So sorry to learn about the loss of you aunt. It seems that your mother found the comfort she needed to process her loss. I’m sure your presence was a factor, too.
Want to hear more about quilt, so will read thru the blog when I have time. Have been wanting to make one for Jason for a long time.
All our love to you and my beloved nephew,
Linda
PS. Belated Happy Anniversary!
